“Go to Paris to see the Mona Lisa, go to Beijing to see Nessun Dorma.”
—Robert A. Mundell, Nobel Prize winner

The Nessun Dorma mural by Mr. Chen Yifei is 40 meters in height and 15 in width, accounting for 600 square meters in the atrium of Winland International Fiance Centre, it is named for the brilliant tenor passage sung by Prince Calaf: 'Nessun Dorma'. This work features China’s particular artistic sensitivities and its craft of lacquerware. The soul of the work, its melody, passion and fantasy, is bodied forth by abstract form, fluctuating color and clear, coherent lines. This mural combines the crafts of wood-carving and polished lacquer, with imported MDF board as the spine and support, and synthetic lacquer and mineral pigments as the main materials, along with 98%-pure gold foil, and craft techniques such as line ruling, lacquer polishing, "rhinoceros skin", texturing, multi-layered lacquer, lacquer-creasing and gilding. The entire mural is flowing of line, brilliant in color, various in texture, shimmering and resplendent, expressing a grand, boundless, poetic beauty.
