The 18.3 acres of desert poplars have now turned into a lush forest. On October 14, 2015, Mr. Wen and composer Wang Liping traveled together to Dunhuang’s Huaisha Forest Square for the unveiling of a stele. Three hundred primary school students took part in the unveiling. Mr. Wen personally presented the children with a DVD of Winland’s Christmas Gala Concert as a cultural gift.
