Foundedin 2019, Carte Blanche is an independent contemporary art gallery under theWinland Group, with locations in Beijing and Hangzhou. It displays thediversity of modernand contemporary art with an open mindset.

Whenmatter is gazed upon, touched, and contemplated, it is endowed with a soul.Guided by the thread of "perception," Carte Blanche presents aselection of works by six Chinese and international artists, each exploring theboundaries of medium, language, and concept. Through multiculturalperspectives, they touch upon those elusive yet universal truths of perception,responding to this year's Beijing Dangdai Art Fair theme –Land Trace.

Atthe same time, Carte Blanche features a special presentation of threeinternational contemporary ceramic artists from Atelier Blanc. Earth, water,and fire –ceramics carry the memory of time and place,recording millennia of dialogue between nature and humanity. In the hands ofthese artists, clay is transformed into a new narrative medium, crossingcultures to articulate the inner and outer dimensions of contemporary ceramicexpression.
