In the early summer of 2022, Long Ma made the 8th stop of its Global Tour at Toulouse, France, where, it teamed up with Minotaure to fight the Spider in a performance of “Nüwa, l'esprit du cheval-dragon” at the Piste des Géants of Ancien site aéronautique de Toulouse. Attracting a few hundred thousand spectators and presenting the locals the charm of Chinese culture, the show was a success in promoting Sino-French friendship and cultural exchanges despite the difficulties caused by the Covid pandemic.
More 20 French TV channels and conventional press, among them, Europe’s top-rating Euronews, covered the show and praised its success. The prominent Le Parisien said, “The show was regulated with the standard security code so as to ensure the free ambulation of these giants and present a spectacular show”.
