On June 25, 2011, the Second Festival Croisements Winland Piano Concert was held at the Beijing Winland International Finance Center. Noted French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet interpreted works by Haydn, Debussy, Wagner, and Liszt. His performance was swift and light, yet full of emotion. He vividly expressed the depth of Haydn’s classical pieces, the mildness and freshness of Debussy’s music, the dramatic themes and emotional melodies of Wagner’s work, and the surging emotion and surprising skill of Liszt’s work, immersing his audience in the charms of piano music.
