2024 “Allegretto” Romanian National Children’s Choir
—— China Tour, Beijing Performance
On July 28, in celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Romania, the Allegretto Romanian National Children’s Choir held a grand performance at the Winland International Financial Center in Beijing as part of their China tour, hosted by the Romanian Cultural Institute and supported by the Winland Group and the School of Architecture and Design at Beijing Jiaotong University. This year also marks the choir’s 50th anniversary.
The young Romanian artists infused the bustling city with cultural warmth through their crystal-clear voices. Their diverse program spanned from enchanting Romanian folk tunes to familiar Chinese traditional music, along with classics sung in English, French, Hebrew, Italian, and other languages. Their pure, angelic singing became a bridge that connected hearts, allowing people from different cultural backgrounds to find shared resonance in the melodies.
